VOLUNTEER! Wellness Without Borders Health Fair
The bi-annual Wellness Without Borders health fair, hosted by the Rose Park Provider’s Coalition, is just around the corner! We’re excited to invite students to volunteer at this important event and make a difference in the community. The fair will take place on Saturday, October 12th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Park Clinic (168 N 1950 W, Salt Lake City, Utah).
Last year’s fair was a huge success, serving over 250 individuals with free health screenings, vaccinations, health education, and various wellness resources. With your help, we hope to have an even greater impact this year.
We are seeking volunteers for:
Setup (2:00 – 4:00 PM)
Event support (4:00 – 7:00 PM)
Here are some of the roles volunteers may fill:
– Food services
– Recruitment for screenings and vaccinations
– Interpreter support
– Booth setup
– Food pantry and clothing closet assistance
– Check-in support
– Other general tasks
Why volunteer?
This is a fantastic opportunity to get to know the community you’ll be serving as future providers. You’ll also gain insight into the available local resources and connect with a network of professionals. We deeply appreciate any time you can donate, whether for setup, event hosting, or both.
If you know anyone who could benefit from attending the health fair, please feel free to share our attached flyer.
Thank you in advance for your support! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
