Upcoming Career Opportunity Series Luncheons

March 16th:

Skyler Burton, a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual. He has presented at the College for the past few years and is a great resource for learning more about how to manage finances while in pharmacy school, paying off student loans afterward, investing in your retirement plans, and setting yourself up for success financially in the future.

March 23rd:

CPNP is hosting pharmacists from the VA who are coming to speak about what a career as a Psych Pharmacist is like. This is also a great oppurtunity for students to learn about careers at the VA.

March 30th:

Megan Medina who runs the Bennion Scholars program https://bennioncenter.org/students/bennion-scholars/index.php used to come to Pharm 5143 when it was a CEL class to talk about how pharmacy students could apply for the program and the requirements. The Bennion Scholars are required to complete a project in the community that complement their pharmacy degree, and this project has also been used to satisfy the COP project requirements. Students need to make a decision to apply to the program in the spring/summer of their P1 year so they can start the program in fall of P2 year.
