University of Utah Health Plans Internship Opportunity

University of Utah Health Plans (UUHP) has two unique internship opportunities available. Both offer a 0.25 FTE with the benefits of flexibility and remote/hybrid work options.

• UUHP intern (Requisition# 56600)- This internship opportunity will support the clinical team. The primary responsibilities will be Medication Use Policy research, review, and development. In addition, the intern will have opportunities to evaluate clinical cases and apply criteria to patient cases. We are looking for a highly motivated student that enjoys research, drug literature evaluation and medical writing.

• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Intern ( Requisition# 55753)- This internship opportunity will be directly involved with MTM for University of Utah Health Plans members, with a focus on improving health outcomes. The intern will work with MTM team, under the supervision of the MTM pharmacist, to address clinical quality measures, high-risk medication use, and quality measures such as HEDIS.”

For both positions, good communication skills, professional attitude, self-motivation along with organization and time management skills are required.
