Student Research Assistant Position Open

Student needed to provide assistance for a database and literature review research project. Project duration approximately 4-6 months, anticipate approximately 8-12 hours per week. Research work to begin on before July 30, 2022. Research Project title: A database and heuristic of ethical issues in biomedical research.

Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy student in P2, P3, or P4 year. Experience with conducting literature searches in medical literature databases and extraction of article information into template (e.g., MS Word). Experience with data entry into spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Access). Experience with online survey software (e.g., Qualtrics, REDCap). Ability to work independently, and adherence to milestones/deadlines. Seeking an assistant with good communication skills and professional maturity.

Scope of work will include

 Assist with online survey

 Medical literature searches in PubMed and other databases,

 Article retrieval, and extraction of article information and data into a template document

 Input of article information into an electronic database repository

 weekly planning and coordinating meeting with principal investigator

 project may also include participation in manuscript preparation and authorship

This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Compensation $20/hour.
