Student Parent Support Center
Hello,
My name is Afton, I am with the Student Parent Support Center. I wanted to introduce you to the UKids-Child Care Programs that offer a range of full time and part time child care options as well as Summer Camps during Summer. Below are some other services that we offer:
to reach out and provide some information about our office and the services we offer. First, we have 3 child care programs on campus (Diaper Bank – Free diapers to University of Utah students you just need to show your University of Utah student ID. Stop by one of our offices once per month to get a pack of diapers for each child. (We also have a baby boutique with baby clothes and some other supplies, again FREE for students)

- Health Science Education Building (HSEB) room 2907 (for pick up from HSEB please email JMcmillan@sa.utah.edu to schedule pick up as this office is only staffed part time)
- We also currently do diaper deliveries to the Sunnyside Apartment complexes in both East and West Village as well as a delivery to the Dentistry school.
- I would be more than happy to arrange another diaper delivery to your collage if students would like
- Assistance paying for Child Care – We can help students pay for child care while they are attending school. These resources are based on your household income and family size; there are two options available depending on your total family resources. - Parent Night Out – About once per month on a Saturday we provide free child care to students at either our UKids-Presidents Circle program or UKids-East Village program. - Free Finals Week Child Care – We provide free child care to student parents during University of Utah Finals Week. You must sign up to participate, learn more by following the link. https://childcare.utah.edu/family-programs/finals-week.php
- We also provide general support to student families and can help answer questions about child care and different family resources
- We are also working on organizing parent support groups and different family activities
