Rho Chi Book Donation Drive

Hello everyone,

The Guadalupe School has been serving Salt Lake’s immigrant and refugee communities for over 50 years through education-based programs and services for both children and adults. Their aim to remove literacy and language barriers and set the stage for academic, economic, and social success while providing access to vital resources has helped numerous families build a foundation of self sufficiency and pursue bright futures.

In order to give back to this amazing school, Rho Chi is organizing a book donation drive! This is a great way to help early learners start on their path to success, and we would love your help. Please see the attached flyer to find out more specific information about the book drive, which will be ongoing until Friday, March 24th. We have numerous options for donation, including mailing purchased books from the library’s wish list to them directly (preferred), collecting new or gently used books at the College of Pharmacy, or allowing Rho Chi to purchase and donate a book on your behalf. Please reach out to Brittney Brito (brittney.brito@pharm.utah.edu) with any questions about the donation process.

Links to the library’s requested book list and amazon wish list can be found here, as well as on our attached flyer:

To find out more about the Guadalupe School and the community that it serves, Rho Chi encourages all College of Pharmacy students and faculty to watch the following video (https://vimeo.com/518748864) or visit https://www.guadschool.org. We look forward to collaborating with you all to make an impact on this school and the lives of the students and families that they continue to help!

Thank you,
