March with the U at Pride!

Utah Pride is UNAPOLOGETIC! and encompasses fighting shame, guilt, and stigma with joy, celebration, and confidence! The Utah Pride Parade hosted in downtown Salt Lake City is the second-largest parade in our state, second only to the city’s Days of ’47 Parade. The 2023 Pride Parade will span 13 blocks and be held on Sunday, June 4, starting at 10 a.m. The parade honors Pride Month, a time to celebrate and support LGBTQIA+ communities both nationally and locally.The University of Utah will have a booth at the festival and a walking delegation in the parade. The U is calling on all students, staff, and faculty to join us in our delegation!

Those who sign up to march with the U will receive a T-shirt and will be expected to line up in advance of 10 a.m. on June 4. Details about exact location and time of lineup will be provided to those who sign up. Space and T-shirts are limited and are first come, first served, so sign up now!
