Maliheh Clinic Schedule & Openings

Hey everyone, as the semester starts, we are excited to see you at the clinic. Below is some information about our clinic, what you would do as a volunteer, where, when, how to sign up, and who to ask if you have any questions!

As a P2-P4 pharmacy student, you will interview your patient to collect information about medication history, vaccine history, and allergies. You will then research and prepare a plan to present to the pharmacy preceptor. After approval, you will present and share your plan with the MD/PA students and their preceptors. You will then have the opportunity to present the plan to your patient and practice providing counseling.

As P1s, you get to shadow, but this is a good opportunity to ask questions or start thinking about how you will interact with patients and healthcare professionals! This is also a space to gain experience and learn from your peers.

Sometimes, because of uncontrollable circumstances, the clinic can be canceled. Those signed up will receive an email as soon as that decision is made to inform you that the clinic is canceled for your selected date. Also, we recognize that life happens, and sometimes you cannot volunteer after all; if it is within two weeks of the clinic date, we ask you to find your own replacement. Also, let us coordinators know! Thank you!

Clinic days are on select Thursdays from 4:45 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Maliheh is located at 941 E 3300 S, Millcreek, UT 84106. Parking is available in front of the building.

The Maliheh Clinic will count towards your co-curricular event for the semester. This co-curricular is different from some of the others offered as this is more hands-on.

I will include a link to the co-curricular page if you sign up for any of the days.
