Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Graduation Ceremony!

You are cordially invited to attend the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion graduation ceremony. I understand that some of you may read this and wonder aloud why we would take away your individual celebrations. Our intent is not to reduce the value of your individual identities, but rather an invitation to celebrate the whole of us.

The graduation ceremony is a partnership between EDI and U Alumni to honor the accomplishments of our Asian, Asian American, Black, Latinx, LGBTQIA+, Native, Pacific Islander, and biracial students — the communities of which you are part. It is also an opportunity to connect with U Alumni and begin your journey as a new alum. Most importantly, it is a celebration that honors your histories, your experiences, your communities, and your families.

We invite you to join us in designing an extraordinary movement of honoring not just your milestone, but the cultural and community traditions that support you so that the U will always reflect you. To be a part of the committee please email: edi-events@utah.edu
