Elevance Health PGY-1 Managed Care Residency

Hello PharmD Class of 2025, 

We are reaching out to you as someone who may know of students interested in pursuing a managed care residency and hope you might be able to share the included information about our program and upcoming informational webinars.  

We encourage you to apply to the Elevance Health PGY-1 Managed Care Residency. This residency will provide residents the opportunity to collaborate with experts across the country while also creating in-person networking experiences through our hybrid model. As a resident at Elevance Health (formerly known as Anthem, Inc.), you will support the company’s PBM, CarelonRx, across all lines of business (Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid). Residents will gain experience in clinical programs, specialty pharmacy management, account management, informatics, formulary management and more. Additionally, residents will have the opportunity to participate in a longitudinal research project and an elective rotation based on their interests. For the residency year of 2025-2026, we will continue to have 2 residency positions.   

  As we approach the application season, we invite you to join us for an informational webinar on Tuesday, November 5th from 7:00-8:00 PM EST or Thursday, November 7th from 7:00-8:00 PM EST to learn more about Elevance Health’s residency program and the application process.
