ASUU Student Representative Elections Opening

My name is Kenny Bustamante, I serve as the Student Governance Assistant with the Associated Students of the University of Utah (ASUU). My supervisor, Ethan Foley (ASUU Student Governance Advisor,) and I are reaching out to share with you that Filing for ASUU Elections is OPEN!

Students can run to represent their peers as an ASUU Assembly Representative, Senator, President/Vice-President, or Attorney General.

Through involvement in ASUU, students have the opportunity to represent and advocate for their peers and friends at both the university and student level – these positions are FUN, and they are PAID!! ASUU is an excellent way to make the U a better place – by getting involved, students have the opportunity to build close friendships, collaborate with others on causes and issues they care about, and build a stronger community here at the U! Each of these positions are compensated, and most roles also receive tuition benefits!

Click HERE to access the ASUU Elections Packet – this packet is your all-access guide to ASUU Elections Information. Be sure to file by Friday, 12.8 at 11:59pm MST. After completing a brief survey, students will be filed to run as a candidate in this spring’s Election!
