APhA Patient Counseling Competition Quickly Approaching!

Hello everyone!

APhA’s yearly patient counseling competition is quickly approaching on January 16th 2025. This is a great opportunity to prove that you are great at pharmacy counseling skills! How it works is that you will sign up for a time slot if you would like to participate on the sign-up genius and report to the clinical suites 10 minutes before your assigned time. Once the simulation begins you will have 5 minutes to prepare and review the case and medication that you will be counseling on, and then you will have 10 minutes to counsel your patient (standardized patient) on the medication the best you can! The winner of this competition will get to go on to compete in the next round of competition at the national level (virtual). If you progress to the final round (in person at the national meeting), you will get free travel and conference tickets to the APhA National Meeting that is in Nashville this year.
