is now Open!

This scholarship is for pharmacy students currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.

The primary goal of the Gateway to Research Scholarship program is to help students gain a deeper understanding of research. This scholarship provides a unique opportunity for talented Pharm.D. and baccalaureate degree students to participate in a faculty-mentored research project. The Gateway to Research Scholarship also encourages students who have the aptitude and desire to pursue a career in research to continue their education in a Ph.D. program.

Please encourage eligible students* to apply!

*a maximum of two applicants will be considered per school. Please review eligibility requirements in the application.

Application Requirements

Students should apply HERE.

Each applicant must have two recommendations, one from a mentor, and another from a second faculty member.

Additionally, each student must submit their official transcripts to AFPE’s office either by email or mail.

Lastly, the application deadline is February 25, 2023.
